2 DAY CERTIFICATION

The Therapeutic Martial Arts program Level 1 Certification training familiarizes participants with a uniquely innovative program, which combines eastern and western philosophies and combination of several evidence-based clinical approaches.  Participants are introduced to research and practical application of Therapeutic Martial Arts.  Techniques of stress management, anger control, improvement of self-esteem, goal attainment, as well as deeper traumatic issues.

  1. 1. Complete Therapeutic Martial Arts program for children and adolescents that is designed to combine therapeutic interventionsusing group structure and Martial Arts.
  2. 2. Psychological and physiological reaction to stress, aggression, self-esteem, and mindfulness.
  3. 3. Practical application using this innovative program, including meditation.
  4. 4. Implementation of Therapeutic Martial Arts with clinical population.

Credentialing

16 CE Credits for Psychologists, Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Family Therapists.
Prerequisites:  Must have prior Martial Arts training; Preferably advance ranking

Dr. Eric Yuri Reznik is a clinical psychologist. He has a successful practice for over 35 years and he is recognized nationally and internationally for his innovative and comprehensive clinical approach.

Dr. Reznik has also studied and taught Martial Arts since 1980 and holds a 3-Red/9-white stripe (5th Degree) in Saminchilu Martial Arts. He has designed Therapeutic Martial Arts as a form of therapy combining psychological therapy and Martial Arts.
